Lior Segev

Mr. Lior Segev is the firm’s Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. A Wall Street veteran of over 20 years, Mr. Segev also served as an Officer in the esteemed Israeli Navy. Prior to his return to Israel in 2014, Mr. Segev was the acting CEO & COO of Lyxor Asset Management in New York. Mr. Segev also practiced law as an Attorney with Sidley Austin, focusing on M&A & Alternative Investments. Mr. Segev holds a Masters degree (LL.M) and an LL.B degree.

Avi Sharir

Mr. Avi Sharir is the firm’s Chief Risk Office. Mr. Sharir has over 20 years of experience in trading FX markets, bonds and derivatives – currently serving as a financial risk consultant and CRO for several provident and pension funds. Prior to his current role, Mr. Sharir founded and acted as the Head of the Dealing Room in Excellence Global Markets (the Forex and Alternative Investments Division of Excellence Investment House) and as part of his duties consulted to large institutional clients on hedging interest rate and FX exposures. During the 1990’s Mr. Sharir worked at UMI (Mizrahi Bank) as a market maker in FX derivatives in Tel Aviv, after serving as an FX Broker at KOOR Corporation.

Eitan Goldberg

Mr. Eitan Goldberg is the firm’s Chief Technology Officer. After and parallel to a long Israeli military service within an elite technological intelligence unit, Mr. Goldberg was one of the pioneer entrepreneurs of the Israeli software start-up industry, establishing and managing the first Israeli Apple Computer Inc. software development center. Mr. Goldberg has initiated and managed many large scale, complex technological projects and ventures, involving multi-discipline expertise and state of the art facilities. In 2006, Mr. Goldberg founded a Fintech department under Digisoft Ltd. focused on Algo-Trading R&D activity. This department was subsequently spun-off as Binalgo Ltd., currently successfully managing Long/Short Equity Intra-Day models.

Haim Zilberlecht

Mr. Haim Zilberlecht the firm’s Head of Research. Mr. Zilberlecht has over 30 years of experience in the software industry, previously working for the Israeli Defense Ministry while also lecturing and consulting to major Israeli Banks and investment houses on software, algorithmic and strategy development. Since 2006, Mr. Zilberlecht has been involved in the areas of R&D and trading for algorithms focusing on low risk liquid trading strategies.

Scott Dembitzer

Mr. Scott Dembitzer serves as an Advisory Board Member to Liquant Asset Management. With over 20 years of experience in the investment industry, Mr. Dembitzer most recently worked at PartnerRe Asset Management where he managed various different Corporate Credit and Government bond portfolios. His prior experience also included roles as lead Telecom, Media, Technology Credit Analyst at BNP Paribas and HSBC, and as an Associate Portfolio Manager at Lazard Asset Management.

Joel Nae

Mr. Joel Nae is the firm’s Managing Partner. With over 10 years of global investment experience, Mr. Nae has been an entrepreneur of US Real Estate holdings and global communication ventures. Since 2013, Mr. Nae has been active within the Israeli quantitative and systematic industries as an influential investor while also serving as a consultant to newly developed initiatives. ‏

Sandra Kruk

Mrs. Sandra Kruk is responsible for all Executive Office administrative matters. In such capacity she is in charge of establishing and managing communications with all investors. Prior to joining Liquant, Mrs. Kruk worked as a Personal Assistant to the CEO of a commodities focused company. Mrs. Kruk holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc), Magna Cum Laude, in marketing and management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.salem.

Isaac Levi

Mr. Isaac Levi is the firm’s Head of Back Office & Controller. Mr. Levi has over 7 years of experience in accounting and operations and brings to Liquant a vast knowledge in financial and logistics management. In his dual capacity, Mr. Levi is responsible for Liquant’s accounting operations, including the production of periodic financial reports and records. Mr. Levi is also responsible for interactions with the firm’s vendors and service providers. Mr. Levi confirms that all budgeting and internal financial plans conform to Liquant’s organizational goals.

Jason Silverman

Mr. Jason Silverman joined Liquant Asset Management in 2017 as Chief Operating Officer (COO) after spending several years with J.P. Morgan in Houston, TX (USA). At JPMorgan, Mr. Silverman served in the bank’s most heralded Private Bank division assigned to the Ultra High Net Worth client base – clients ranging among the wealthiest and most influential in the world. Mr. Silverman was the singular, primary point of contact for all service and operational needs of his dedicated clientele. Prior to JPMorgan, Mr. Silverman worked as a licensed Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley advising individuals, family offices and companies with asset and wealth planning strategies. Mr. Silverman earned an Economics (B.A) degree from Yeshiva University in New York, NY.
